The impact of mobile internet development on e-Tourism

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the mobile Internet development and penetration and its subsequent impact on eTourism industry. Firstly, the thesis deals with information and communication technologies with a great attention to the Internet, which had a fundamental importance for eTourism creation. Then it occupies with the mobile Internet, which enabled mTourism formation, and also describes current mobile devices. The next chapter analyzes the contemporary state and trends of mobile Internet in mTourism and its impact on eTourism. Eventually, the thesis predicts the possible future development of the situation and presents the latest technology on the market.

Facilitation of guidance in online tourism offering for people with lesser digital literacy. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2016. This bachelor thesis deals with issues about facilitating internet-based tourism supply to individuals with less experience with information and communication technologies. The thesis is based on dealing with older people and their capabilities of understanding the use and role of information-reservation systems. Con-ceptual part of this thesis deals with integration of information and communication technologies into area of tourism and the extent of the use of these technolo-gies by people of higher age. Special focus is set to differences in the digital literacy of people with various characteristics and options. The solutions based on gathered information about usability of web pages are proposed to facilitate seniors orientation in the area of online tourism offers.
Internet as an Important Factor of Globalization and its Impact on Tourism Development

The extent of the Tourism is increasingly linked to the development of information and communication technologies, especially the Internet and for a long time the online market is becoming a key aspect of its further development. Current technological development brings with it significant digitization of all processes and significantly affects how today's companies are entering and communicating on the online tourism market. Similarly, as a result of these changes, the significant change occurs in consumer behaviour, and across all age groups. With the development of these technologies, today's consumer is not only knowledgeable and more experienced, but is increasingly being constant online part of this market. The development of online tourism market is thus increasingly strongly linked with the growth of the total Internet population and currently also the one, that is using to the internet access the cellular infrastructure and equipment. The aim of disertation is to analyze the impact of the development of the internet as a global phenomenon of the last decade, and information and communication technologies on the tourism market, and to create a comprehensive look at this issue from tourism market perspective.
